I have to disagree with you there Oliver, people have the right to believe and practice any religion they want, but equally i have the right to not be harassed in my own home and have people trying to force their crazy ideas on me.
I understand that Coleman, but I think HGBC aren't trying to convert or impose themselves on anyone (as was mentioned earlier, I think). I believe the purpose of the visits is to tell the community of the things they are involved in, which maybe local people don't know about.
For example, there is a mums and toddlers group, a luncheon club for the elderly, lots of youth activities and children's clubs, social groups, and the Furniture Station.
I wouldn't want people trying to force any religion down my throat, especially in my own home, but it seems the idea of communicating with the local community about things that are available can only be a positive step to helping with the 'community' feel in Hazel Grove - something which we often hear is lacking today.
