i would like to ask if anyone knows wether there are any more parks in hazel grove getting revamped because i think my local park is surely due for some new equipment as it has a swing and a slide which i a grateful for but high lanes park is amazing now (near comunity center) and arundel estate park is being done i live on cherrytree drive or behind hazel grove police station

I wouldn't hold your breath, I don't think the park nearest to us has even got the soft tarmac under the slide. I recall a neighbour contacting the council after her child fell off the slide several years ago, she was put on to someone from Highways I think, and he didn't even know that there was a park on Clarendon Road and he drove past it everyday. And he was also in charge of the maintenance of parks and didn't know.

The park on Bean Leach Road is getting a revamp according to some information that came through my door.
I think it's great that they are trying to improve the parks and make them safer, but I will also be sad to see the 'retro' equipment being destroyed. This park reminds me of my youth (even thought I did not grow up in Hazel Grove, the park equipment is the same as where I did grow up), so when they tear it out I will be sad.
