Huffy's Bar & Restaurant on London Road is a great bar with a good atmosphere, everyone is made to feel welcome. The food is exceptional & the staff are really friendly. The coctail night on Wednesdays is good fun and highly recommended!

Brilliant location with Manchester and all that smashing countryside on your door step.
Hazel Groves ok by me,I grew up there and although I now live in South Wales I always drive through for a look on visits back North.
Also I have travelled extensively worldwide and Hazel Groves great!

try living somewhere else before you complain.chavs hoodies bad manners not as bad as eleswhere. lived here my for 10 of my 45 years very content.

Try the Bamboo, first time in and I was dubious when I first walked in - really scary blonde barmaid on the first bar when you walk in, but then I met Jules another barmaid on the bar near the DJ and she made my night! beatiful, smiley, friendly - would go back just to see her!

Just moved here .. great to be near open country. Anyone walked the footpath beside the Norbury Brook between the old mill and Norbury Hollow lately? It's like a picture book drawing, with bluebells and wild garlic!

Local services such as GP's, chemists, hospital, train station, bus services, pubs, a night club, several good supermarkets, a wealth of clubs & organisations to cater to everyone's hobbies etc, a wide selection of churches with associated activities, good schools.HG is short of very little really.
